Some more work in progress from a series inspired by tales of wood nymphs.I have been thinking for a while now about the idea of forests/nymphs. A lot of folklore I read explores in various forms the female spirit, and its link to nature- the symbolism is obvious, but there is something in these different representations of 'women', nymphs, goddesses of natural elements that interest me.
